The IT department in Salling Group has paid all BR, Bilka and Føtex stores a visit to optimize the communication in a busy work environment. This has been done through a collaboration with the IT company Delfi Technologies, which has resulted in the implementation of more than 5.000 new smartphones in 155 stores.

All of Nettos physical stores in Denmark and Poland are today equipped with two very effective printers from Epson. A setup composed by Delfi Technologies, which consists of an extremely user-friendly Epson TM-C3500 label printer, which prints all their shelf fronts in exactly the order they want. At the same time, Netto and Delfi also found the right solution through the productive Epson C529R, which manages to handle their many A4 and A5 signs in the shops in Denmark and Poland.

Delfi Technologies streamlines the work in the ICA stores with electronic shelf labels. A new feature means that the current stock levels can be shown digitally – directly at the shelf edge. It has saved many hours at ICA Supermarket Torsås, which also has achieved a more efficient store operation.

After a convincing test, Dagrofa rolls out the food waste app ‘Whywaste’ in all the Danish MENY stores. At MENY in Solrød, the store has already managed to achieve a significant reduction in food waste. In addition to the app, the new IT solution also consists of handheld terminals and label printers to print out discount labels – directly from the app.

The family-owned Danish supermarket chain, ABC Lavpris, with 15 stores in Jutland and on Funen has chosen the IT company, Delfi Technologies, as supplier of a new checkout system and price checkers for all its stores.

ABC Lavpris is a reputable supermarket chain with many years of experience in the grocery business. With the desire to improve the customer experience in the stores and upgrade the shopping experience, the chain has teamed up with the IT company Delfi Technologies.

There is now more time for customer service after Spar Haderup introduced electronic price tags.

At ICA Supermarket Smedby in Kalmar, they have installed electronic shelf labels from Delfi Technologies. The prerequisite for choosing Delfi’s solution is that they are partners with ICA, and everything is integrated with ICA StoreOffice and NYA BOB (BackOfficeButik).

Located at Stjerne Camping in Vejers Strand, Southwest Jutland (Denmark), you will find Vejers Supermarket, which is part of Let-Køb – one of Dagrofa’s local chain of stores. The supermarket employs a total of 13 staff members incl. part-time and holiday replacements. Especially in high season, it is extra busy when campers and holidaymakers pass by, but in fact, the supermarket is open 363 days a year.

In Nordhavn, one of Copenhagen’s most vibrant neighborhoods, MENY has opened a new and modern food mecca that sets the standard for future supermarkets. On May 1, 2020, Dalgaard Supermarket, MENY Hørsholm, got a new merchant. On that day, a generational change was started with the experienced merchant, Lasse Simonsen, in front. On August 22nd, the grocery chain Spar opened its doors to a brand new store with international concepts in the South of Copenhagen area, Sydhavn. The new store offers a modern shopping experience where it should be easy, convenient and enjoyable to shop – with digital prices on electronic shelf labels as one of the initiatives.

A big curiosity and desire to explore new and different ways to run supermarkets is, among other things, something that makes Kvickly Ry a first mover in the retail industry. In 2006, Kvickly Ry was the first supermarket in Denmark to implement electronic shelf labels. It all started as a school project, originated from a persevering and curious student, who with his final exam got the ESL project realized, when the money for testing and later full implementation, was granted by the board in the consumer cooperative TRYG.
