At Hospice Søholm, and several other institutions in the healthcare sector, there is a need to continuously adapt the content of signage in front of rooms. In order to achieve easier and more efficient administration of premises, Hospice Søholm has therefore implemented digital signage in front of the premises at the institution.
The right information is crucial in front of storage rooms, living rooms and other rooms at Hospice Søholm, where they have introduced digital signage from Delfi Technologies. This way, the signs can be updated with one click, without having to change anything physically in front of the rooms. This gives Hospice Søholm a clear overview of all rooms, and changes to the signs can easily be made online.
– It’s easy to manage our premises with digital signage and the accompanying software where we can manage and update the content online. We can also decide the design and what information we want on the digital signs. In addition, it all runs as a subscription, so we can easily opt in and out as our needs change,” says Knud Skytthe, Technical Service Manager at Hospice Søholm.
With low installation costs and the option to purchase the solution via a subscription, the solution sets itself apart from other digital signage solutions on the market. The signage solution is wireless and installation is quick and easy. The digital signs also have replaceable batteries, so you can quickly and easily replace the batteries yourself.

MORE BENEFITS WITH DIGITAL SIGNAGE FOR HEALTHCARE
Hospice Søholm isn’t the only one in need of digital signage – most other hospices, nursing homes, retirement homes and hospitals have to keep track of many different rooms. At the same time, there is a need to continuously update the content on signs in front of meeting rooms, storage rooms, living rooms and other types of rooms. There are many benefits to be gained,” says Knud Skytthe:
– I could easily imagine that other institutions in the healthcare sector could achieve the same – and even more – benefits with digital signage. We are also planning additional areas where we could be more digital. With the solution from Delfi Technologies, in addition to digital signs, we can also connect a digital monitor solution – this is one of the areas we are looking at.
As with digital signs, it is possible to connect a digital monitor solution on the same platform, where, for example, you can use a TV as an info screen in a reception or similar places to create an overview. The content on the info screen can be customized and updated online in the same way as with digital signs.

About Hospice Søholm
Hospice Søholm is located in Stavtrup by Lake Brabrand, an independent institution with an operating agreement with the Central Denmark Region. To be admitted to the hospice, you must have a life-threatening illness accompanied by complex issues of a physical, mental, social and/or existential nature. It is also essential that the patient wishes to stay at the hospice.
