Digital name badges for conferences and receptions
Danish company VIANOMO has designed and developed digital name badges with a focus on making everyday life easier for those who work with events. The digital name badges are made with recycled materials from the retail sector and technology from IT company Delfi Technologies.
VIANOMO Nametags eliminate the need for printing and save you tons of time for your next event. The Danish-developed digital name tags use electronic ink on their display, making it possible to update the content continuously. Each name tag comes with a matching keychain in different colors, making it possible to categorize participants as needed.

Circular concept for waste minimization
You can rent VIANOMO from time to time or have a permanent installation if you run many events, need guest cards at the reception, etc.

The company’s business model is based on a circular concept with the goal that VIANOMO Nametags and Lanyards (keyhangers) will be used by as many guests as possible.
– Every time the units are reused, the total carbon footprint is reduced and the amount of waste is minimized, explains Andreas Vestergaard.
The name badges use technology from Delfi Technologies’ digital signs with electronic ink (e-ink) and use a wireless antenna to communicate with the signs via software in the cloud.
Flexible integration and update options
Updating a VIANOMO Name Tag takes just a few seconds. You can create all tags in advance or wait to update until guests check in. This way you can easily handle late registrations and save additional time.
It’s all web-based and in seconds you can code 100s of Nametags. If there are changes to a name, you can easily change it, even if the guest has already received their Nametag. This makes it easier to handle late registrations, correct spelling mistakes, update the guest’s agenda in real time, guide breakouts, show table plans, activate giwe avays in plenary and much more.
– I’ve actually worked with Delfi for more than 15 years on various solutions. We came up with the idea because we’ve
been in the business for more than 20 years and we’ve printed billions of name badges. It’s always a last minute task that you get a little tired of having to do. And when the guests leave, all the name tags are typically thrown out, and the same goes for cords etc. We thought it could be done in a better way,” says Andreas Vestergaard.    
If you use a registration or membership system, you can quickly import data directly and make the process even easier.
