Tenute Orestiadi: Leading Italian wine producer uses digital signage
During the production of wine, it is necessary to have an accurate overview of various information – such as the name of the wine, vessel details, capacity and much more. That’s why Tenute Orestiadi, a leading Italian wine producer, has implemented digital signage in wine production.
Italy accounts for a significant portion of the world’s total wine production. On Sicily, the island with a long tradition of growing wine, you’ll find the Tenute Orestiadis winery.
To create a better overview of important information about the wine during production, Tenute Orestiadi decided to install digital signs from Delfi Technologies – a European IT company specializing in ESL solutions (Electronic Shelf Labels) with a proprietary software platform for easy overview and management of the solution.
Easy to update wine information
With the Breece System and digital signs, the winemaker can easily and quickly send out new data about the wines. A wireless antenna is connected to the winemaker’s network and ensures that all updates are sent out to digital signs – all at the touch of a button.
The design and layout of the signs can be customized to show exactly the information you want – from wine details to temperature conditions and so on.
About Tenute Orestiadi
Tenute Orestiadi is one of the most important production companies in Western Sicily. It is a young winery, founded in 2008 in Gibellina, which collects and vinifies the grapes of many small producers in the Belìce Valley, to the great benefit of the inhabitants.
Orestiadi is housed in a newly built winery on the mountain that dominates the Gibellina area. The cellars are built in harmony with ancient Sicilian traditions, but contain the best and most modern equipment for the production and storage of the wines.
