With the opening of a new showroom in Hillerød, Møbelkompagniet has taken another step in its nationwide expansion. The digitally founded furniture company is making a focused investment in physical presence—without letting go of its digital strength.
The new address at Sigrunsvej 18 in Hillerød brings the company closer to customers in North Zealand. Because even in a digital business, the physical experience is crucial: customers want to feel materials, test comfort, and see the quality with their own eyes before deciding. That is precisely why the showroom strategy is central.
– Our goal is to make modern quality furniture accessible to as many Danes as possible. With the opening in Hillerød, we are getting closer to customers in North Zealand, and we are really looking forward to it, says Victor Wøhlk Lauritsen, and continues:
– We know that many people want to experience the furniture physically before making a decision. That is why our showrooms are an important part of the experience.
The opening was marked with a well-attended event featuring a Grand Opening Sale, a DJ, free coffee, and goodie bags for the first visitors.
With existing showrooms in Aalborg, Aarhus, Odense, and several on Zealand, the new location in Hillerød is a natural extension of the company’s ambition to make modern quality furniture accessible throughout the country.
As customers move around the showroom, the technology works like a digital engine in the background, ensuring a streamlined experience.
In collaboration with Delfi Technologies, Møbelkompagniet has implemented digital price labels, which automatically update prices, campaigns, and product information in real time—directly from the webshop.
This creates a more accurate and consistent level of information in the store and enhances the overall customer experience.
– One of the major advantages of the solution from Delfi Technologies is that it is extremely scalable. When we open new showrooms, it is easy to add or remove digital price labels as needed, and the system is intuitive to work with on a day-to-day basis. It frees up time for our employees so they can focus on what matters most—namely customer service and advice, says Victor Wøhlk Lauritsen.
Møbelkompagniet thus demonstrates its strength: combining the physical experience with digital precision.
