With more than 40 years of experience and a wide selection of bicycles, e-bikes, cycling equipment and workshop services, Jensen Cykler has established itself as a strong player in Aarhus. The family-owned bicycle retailer has invested in digital price tags to strengthen the interaction between the webshop and the physical store.
Today, Jensen Cykler is run as a modern bicycle retailer with a focus on quality, service and advice. From the 1,600 m² store on Vestre Ringgade in Aarhus, the company offers bicycles and equipment for everyday use, fitness and sport—from children’s bikes and city bikes to mountain bikes and road bikes. The store also has its own workshop and one of the country’s largest selections of Specialized e-bikes.

“Customers expect prices, promotions and products to always match online and in the store. With digital price tags, we can respond much faster to changes and ensure that our webshop and store work together in real time,” says Mathias Jensen, E-commerce Manager at Jensen Cykler.
Jensen Cykler was founded in 1978 by Mathias Jensen’s grandfather and has since developed from a classic local bicycle shop into a modern bicycle retailer with a webshop, workshop and an impressive store in an attractive location in Aarhus.
Mathias Jensen also points out that the digital price tag solution makes it significantly easier to manage a range that is constantly changing.
The investment is therefore not only about efficiency, but to a large extent also about flexibility in a busy day-to-day.
“We continuously receive new products, while offers and seasonal campaigns change quickly. Previously, it required a lot of manual work to keep all signs updated. Now we can create new products and change prices centrally in just a few seconds,” he says.
The solution ensures that prices and promotions are automatically updated in the store in line with the webshop. This minimises errors, saves time in day-to-day operations and gives employees a better opportunity to focus on advice and customer service.
At Jensen Cykler, the investment is also seen as an important step towards a more cohesive customer experience in an industry where price transparency and fast-moving campaigns play an increasingly important role.
