HEM gas station in Salzgitter Lichtenberg modernizes store with electronic shelf labels (ESL) from Delfi.
In mid-March, the HEM filling station in Salzgitter Lichtenberge became the first HEM filling station to be equipped with digital price labels from Delfi Technologies. 400 Chroma 21 units were mounted on the shelves and 7 Chroma 74 units were installed at the bakeoff counter. One advantage of the Delfi solution is the ease of operation. The entire system was installed and ready to use in a very short time as it is a Plug & Play solution.
From the start, we have felt comfortable working with Delfi. The conversations have always been competent and uncomplicated, and we were immediately on the same wavelength. The Delfi solution makes our daily work significantly easier.
Price updates are done in just a few clicks. With a mobile device, new signs can be easily created. Via the BreeceGo app, both iOS and Android devices can be used. The regular price adjustments or promotional offers are automatically transferred via the software solution and interface system developed by Delfi for the Huth POS system and merchandise management. If a product changes location in the store, the ESL sign remains in place and does not need to be moved. At the new location, the new display and product are simply reconnected via the handheld terminal – the correct price and product information is updated in real time. “TheDelfi solution makes our daily work much easier,” says Sabrina Bothe.
Legal security
The monthly costs are manageable. In return, you save a lot of time and minimize errors that can arise from incorrect pricing, which in the long run will have a positive effect on the store’s operations and finances. With Delfi’s digital price tags, you’re also legally on the safe side – all legally required information is clearly displayed. This was another decisive factor for Sabrina Bothe in choosing Delfi’s solution.
