Difficult times call for simple solutions

The team at the limit. Then came the flood disaster. Pharmacist Laura Abels is the proud owner of the three Abels pharmacies in Erftstadt. Fortunately, her pharmacy was spared any damage. In the Erp district, however, the flow of customers from three pharmacies was now concentrated on one, Mrs. Abels’ Land Apotheke.

A simple, quick and easy solution was needed: electronic price labeling from Delfi.

Ms. Abels, how did you find your way to Delfi?
– I opted for Delfi because my colleagues from the sisterhood (a group of female pharmacists formed as a result of coaching from Nicole Müller) were so enthusiastic. I hadn’t really thought about digital price labeling before!

What are your convincing arguments for colleagues?
– I am convinced because of the uniform image, the time savings, the order and ease of use. Price control is automated and allows us to use our time elsewhere.

What are the next steps in terms of digitalization for Abels Apotheken?
– The Land Apotheke is a test for the Bürgerplatz. There, I will fully embrace digitalization and make full use of the progress, in combination with a fully automated machine and digital product presentation. My aim is to remain new and interesting while saving staff hours.

– In addition, we want to make the supply of medicines as simple, convenient and safe as possible for our customers and for us as an association. Through more digitalization, we can connect better and make better use of the advantages of our three locations. Tasks and requirements are changing and we will be ready for them.

Nowadays, you can no longer afford to burden employees with manual labeling. The retail trade is changing, and this also affects the sales area of the pharmacy, the free choice. Respond to this change in good time and use electronic price labeling to reduce the workload on staff, increase price security and optimize margins and sales.
