Digital price tags have made everyday life easier at Min Købmand Skive. With a new solution from Delfi Technologies, the store has gained more efficient price management, fewer errors and a more modern store environment.
At the Central Jutland grocery store, shopkeeper Steen Overmark focuses on solutions that make everyday life easier for employees while also improving the customer experience. That’s why the paper signs have now been replaced by digital price tags in several different sizes adapted to the store’s product areas.
In the fruit and vegetable department, larger signs are used to increase visibility and create a more inviting look, while smaller signs are used on shelves with many items and limited space.
According to Steen Overmark, the decision was driven by a desire to reduce manual tasks in the store:
– It has to be easy, and the prices have to be correct. When we avoid hassle and manual corrections, we can spend the time on customers instead, he says.
With the digital solution, price changes can be updated automatically and directly on the shelves, which both saves time and reduces the risk of pricing errors.
At the same time, the shopkeeper highlights the system’s user-friendliness as one of the biggest benefits.
– I’ve been surprised at how easy it is to work with the system. When I walk around the store, I always have a couple of signs in my pocket that I can quickly pair if I spot a new item without a price, says Steen Overmark.
At Min Købmand Skive, the digital price tags have therefore become a natural part of daily operations, where employees can quickly and efficiently update information directly on the shelves.
The solution also contributes to a more consistent and modern store environment with clear and up-to-date prices for customers.
For the shopkeeper, the investment ultimately comes down to spending less time on manual tasks and more time on customers and a great shopping experience.
