Sønderborg has received its first unmanned grocery store. Købmanden 24/7 is open around the clock and combines local roots with modern technology.
In the summer of 2024, Købmanden 24/7 opened as the first unmanned grocery store in Sønderborg, located at the corner of Grundtvigs Allé and Ringridervej. Behind the store are the couple Sandra Bakowsky and Danni Christensen, who, together with Unlimit Group, have made it possible to establish a fully unmanned grocery store.
Unlimit Group A/S has entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with Købmanden 24/7 for the delivery and implementation of solutions for unmanned stores. In total, Købmanden 24/7 expects to open between 100–150 stores over a 3-year period.

A modern grocery concept
Købmanden 24/7 is built on a simple principle: the store is open around the clock, and customers let themselves in. Access is granted via an app, where you register with MitID or by using a key fob. This allows customers to shop exactly when it suits them – day or night, all year round. When no staff is present, it is crucial that operations remain efficient and stable.
At Købmanden 24/7 Sønderborg, digital price tags from Delfi Technologies are a central part of operations. They make it possible to manage prices centrally and update them automatically within seconds. This ensures that customers always pay the correct price, while the owners avoid time-consuming administration.
