After many years as one of Denmark’s leading webshops for running gear, Løbeshop.dk has now opened the doors to its very first physical store. And they’re doing it in style – right in the vibrant and creative Sydhavnen district of Aarhus, where passion for running, service, and technology go hand in hand.
– We have a clear ambition to increase visibility and be more present in runners’ everyday lives – not just online, but out in the real world as well. Our new store in Aarhus gives us a unique opportunity to meet customers face-to-face, strengthen relationships, and show who we are as a brand, says Peter Jensen, Retail Manager at Løbeshop.

At Løbeshop Aarhus, it’s not just about running shoes, but about experiences and community. Here, you can try out the gear, get personalized advice, and become part of an inspiring running universe.
The store is spread over two floors; the ground floor offers a wide selection of running shoes, apparel, and accessories from the best brands. The first floor is designed as a cozy lounge where you can relax, enjoy a refreshment, meet other runners, or recharge for your next training run. Additionally, the store hosts running events, workshops, and group training sessions for runners of all levels.
Digital price tags create cohesion between webshop and store
As a digitally driven company, it was natural for Løbeshop to integrate technology into the physical store. In collaboration with Delfi Technologies, the store is therefore equipped with digital price tags that automatically update in sync with the webshop.
This creates transparency and confidence for customers. Whether there are promotions, offers, or price changes, the prices in the store are always up-to-date and identical to those online.

The entire range – right at your fingertips
If the desired model isn’t on the shelf, help is never far away. The staff are equipped with tablets, and a large info screen gives customers access to Løbeshop’s entire online universe directly from the store. Here, you can easily find the right size, color, or variant – and have the item delivered to your home or pick it up the next day.
Today, Løbeshop is a strong international player with webshops in 16 countries. The opening of the first physical store in Aarhus marks the beginning of a new journey, with the ambition to increase visibility and local presence – both in Denmark and internationally.
