Spar has a new international flagship store in the capital

On August 22, the grocery chain Spar opened the doors to a brand new store with international concepts at Teglholmen in Copenhagen’s Sydhavn. The new store is a bid for a modern shopping center where shopping should be easy, convenient and pleasant – including digital prices on electronic shelf labels.

Spar is the world’s largest chain of grocery stores with over 13,000 stores in 48 countries. In close collaboration with Spar International, the Dagrofa Group is behind the opening of the brand new flagship store in the new Copenhagen district. It is the Jutland grocer, Ronnie Borregaard, with Copenhagen experience and strong results, who is in charge of the new Spar store and who has been preparing and developing the concepts in the store since June 1.

As the first Spar in Denmark, the new store has launched the international concept, Spar Natural, which brings together organic, vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free products in one place in the store. In addition, the 698 m2 new store offers customers a wide convenience range of sandwiches, salads and light meals, as well as a juicer, nut bar and a large fruit and vegetable selection. The prices of the products are always up to date as they are digitally displayed on electronic shelf labels.
