The Danish company VIANOMO has designed and developed digital name tags with a focus on making everyday life easier for those working with events. The digital name tags are made from recycled materials from the retail sector and technology from the IT company Delfi Technologies.
VIANOMO Name tags eliminate the need for printing and save you lots of time for your next event. The Danish-developed digital name tags use electronic ink on their display, allowing the content to be continuously updated. Each nameplate comes with an accompanying keyring in various colors, making it possible to categorize participants as needed.

Circular Concept for Waste Minimization
You can rent VIANOMO on a per-event basis or have a permanent installation if you frequently host many events, need guest cards at the reception, etc.

The company’s business model is based on a circular concept with the goal that VIANOMO Nametags and Lanyards (keyhangers) should be used by as many guests as possible.
– Each time the units are reused, the overall CO2 footprint is reduced and the amount of waste is minimized,” explains Andreas Vestergaard.
The nameplates use technology from Delfi Technologies’ digital signs with electronic ink (e-ink) and utilize a wireless antenna to communicate with the signs via cloud-based software.
Flexible Integration and Update Options
It takes only a few seconds to update a VIANOMO name tag. You can prepare all tags in advance or wait to update them until guests check in. This makes it easy to handle late registrations and save additional time.
The entire system is web-based, allowing you to code hundreds of name tags in seconds. If there are changes to a name, you can easily update it even if the guest has already received their name tag. This makes it easier to manage late registrations, correct spelling errors, update the guest’s agenda in real-time, guide to breakouts, display seating plans, activate giveaways in plenary sessions, and much more.
– I have actually collaborated with Delfi for more than 15 years on various solutions. We came up with the idea because we have been in the industry for more than 20 years, and we have printed billions of name tags. It’s always a last-minute task, and it gets tiring. When the guests leave, all the name tags typically get thrown away, along with the lanyards. We thought it could be done in a better way, says Andreas Vestergaard.
