Dagrofa strengthens presence in the capital with new Spar store
The grocery chain Dagrofa has opened a new and modern Spar store in a former Irma in Frederiksberg, Sylows Alle, in Copenhagen. The new store focuses on convenience experiences and once again marks Spar’s entry into the capital in extraordinary locations.
After several months of preparation, Dagrofa opened the doors to a new, beautiful Spar store in central Frederiksberg. The store is located right next to Frederiksberg Gymnasium, with both CBS and Metro Frederiksberg within 100 meters and a short distance to Frederiksberg Centret.
The new store has a special focus on high quality and great experiences, combined with inviting store solutions and a wide and exciting range of convenience to-go, fruit and vegetables, meat and wine.
Leading the Dagrofa-owned Spar store is Daniel Holtegaard, who previously worked at Salling Group as team leader at Føtex and store manager at Netto.
local customization and customer focus
As part of the Spar concept, customers can expect a well-stocked, quality supermarket that focuses on the local and the individual customer when they visit Daniel Holtegaard’s store in Frederiksberg.
The local roots are particularly evident in the assortment, which is specially adapted to customers in the local area with lots of specialty products.
Like many of Daniel Holtegaard’s grocery store colleagues in the Dagrofa chain, electronic price tags have also been installed at Spar Frederiksberg, freeing up time for other tasks in the store – and a greater presence with customers.
– It gives us great freedom when we don’t have to worry about changing prices and product information around the store. We can just type everything into the system and it is automatically updated on the shelves. That way we can concentrate on our customers and other tasks in the store,” says the grocer.
