E-Shop of the Year expands once again with exciting new store
Earlier this year, Eventyrsport won Pricerunner’s awards for e-shop of the year and best e-shop in leisure, and is once again expanding with a new, welcoming store in Slagelse. As always, the focus here is on extraordinary customer experiences and with electronic shelf labels from Delfi Technologies, employees have more time to share their expertise with customers.

No matter what interest you have, you quickly get the feeling that something extra has been done for the experience in the almost 1000 sqm large store.
ELECTRONIC SHELF LABELS MAKE SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTS VISIBLE AT EVENTYRSPORT
Eventyrsport is always at the forefront of what their customers want, and with an increasing demand for sustainable products and materials, Eventyrsport has adopted new ways to make it easier for customers to differentiate their products.
– We have introduced our own eco-label in Eventyrsport, “Careful Choice”, which makes it easier for customers to find sustainable and environmentally friendly products with us, says Emil Holtet Søgaard, Retail Manager at Eventyrsport.
“Careful Choice” was created to make it much easier for customers to invest in sustainable equipment and gear. Eventyrsport itself calls the label a compass needle to find your way in the jungle. In addition, the criteria for “Careful Choice” include the materials the products are made of and how they are produced.
– On our electronic shelf labels, we have therefore implemented a small icon symbolizing “Careful Choice” so that both our employees and customers can quickly differentiate the sustainability of the products, he continues.
By implementing the icon on the electronic shelf labels, Eventyrsport ensures that their sustainability communication is up-to-date, so that no products are sold on the wrong terms – thus ensuring the best possible customer service.

MANY PROMOTIONS AND PRICE CHANGES CAN COST TIME
The opening of the new store in Slagelse also means sharp opening offers, and Black Friday, Christmas shopping and the start of the sales will follow soon after. In just a few months, Eventyrsport has many price promotions that would normally take them a long time to change manually.
– It’s super easy for us to open a store or run special price promotions thanks to our electronic shelf labels. We are always sure that the prices are updated and correct, and thus avoid taking valuable time away from customers as our employees do not have to price tag the many products, says Emil Holtet Søgaard.
With the electronic shelf labels installed throughout the store, Eventyrsport achieves great flexibility when planning and running price promotions. With just a few clicks, they can change the prices on all shelf labels in the store via their ERP system.
EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE AND EXPERTISE DON’T GO UNNOTICED
Earlier this year, Eventyrsport was named e-shop of the year, and this is in line with the great ambitions the chain has for their customer service and experiences – both online and offline. According to Emil Holtet Søgaard, there is one factor in particular that underlies this:
– For us, it’s important that our employees are experts in their fields. Our employees have tested and experienced our products themselves and, for example, run the routes we recommend,” he says.
– In this way, we create a much better incentive and experience of know-how in our stores as well as on the webshop,” he continues.
That’s why the stores’ electronic shelf labels also interact with the webshop to ensure consistent pricing. If prices change in one place, they automatically change in the other – and the customer experience is complete again, as there are no misunderstandings about prices. prices.
