Smart Solution Saves Hours

The digital signs have eliminated the old, manual routines around buffet setup. Where staff previously spent time printing, cutting, folding and sorting signs in boxes, they can now handle everything digitally – quickly and easily.

– We save a lot of time in everyday operations. Previously, we printed signs on A4 paper, cut, folded and sorted them alphabetically in boxes. It took a long time – and we had to make new ones anyway when changes occurred, explains owner Simon Buer and adds:

– Now we can change and add dishes directly from the computer. It’s quick if changes occur, or if you’ve forgotten a dish – you just add it. It’s also much easier to include allergens, so the information is always correct.

An Improvement for both Guests and Staff

The digital buffet signs have made work easier for staff and the experience more manageable for guests. With less manual work and fewer errors, time is freed up to focus on what matters most – giving guests a good experience.

For guests, it means a calmer buffet where they can easily orient themselves without confusion. For staff, it means better overview, fewer routine tasks and a much smoother workflow.

The idea for the solution arose when Simon Buer saw digital signs in use at another restaurant – and the decision to implement them quickly proved to be the right one.
