At MENY Roskilde, store manager Kenni Stærk has eliminated wasted time and daily bottlenecks. With wireless VoCoVo headsets and call stations from Delfi Technologies, the store now has a communication system that saves time, reduces stress, and makes it easier to give customers a great experience – every time.
In the heart of Roskilde’s busy high street lies MENY Roskilde – a supermarket that many locals know as a natural stop on their way home. Here, commuters, families, and food enthusiasts shop – all appreciating high quality and attentive service.
When Kenni took over MENY Roskilde at the beginning of 2025, he set out to make the popular high-street supermarket even more inviting. Today, it’s a modern store with a strong focus on quality, experience, and efficiency.
“Before, we spent a lot of time running back and forth between the checkout and the rest of the store. Now, employees can ask questions directly through the headset and get an immediate answer – without leaving the register. It saves a huge amount of time and makes the work much more efficient. Everyone contributes, and it’s easy to get help from a colleague, no matter where you are in the store.”
Headsets turn up the pace in the store
The store manager heard about the KFI Retailer Foundation’s grant program for the Kvik Kald solution with wireless headsets from Delfi Technologies – and that became the starting point for a project that has truly improved communication throughout the store.
– Before, we spent a lot of time running back and forth between the checkout and the rest of the store. Now, employees can ask questions directly through the headset and get an immediate answer – without leaving the register, says Kenni Stærk.
– It saves a huge amount of time and makes the work much more efficient. Everyone contributes, and it’s quick to get help from a colleague, no matter where you are in the store, he adds.

One press – and help is on the way
In the store, call stations have been installed at both the goods receiving area and the bottle machine. When a customer needs assistance or a supplier is at the door, the message is sent directly to all employees’ headsets.
At the call station, the customer also receives the message, “An employee is on the way” – and help arrives quickly. For customers, this means shorter waiting times and the sense that assistance is always right at hand.
– Det betyder, at vi kan reagere med det samme og hjælpe kunderne, uden at afbryde arbejdet. Det giver et helt andet flow i hverdagen – og kunderne oplever, at der altid er nogen klar til at hjælpe, siger Kenni Stærk.
Help in the ear – without disturbing the customers
For both employees and customers, the new solution has made a noticeable difference. Employees can now communicate directly and discreetly in the ear – without having to announce over the loudspeaker or run back and forth across the store.
– It makes a huge difference in daily work, says one of the store’s employees.
– If you’re at the register and need an answer to a question, you can just ask through the headset. You don’t have to call out across the store, and you get help immediately – without disturbing those around you.

One headset – many benefits
The wireless solution has created a significant improvement in internal communication. Questions that previously required physical contact are now resolved within seconds. This increases efficiency and frees up time for customers.
– With the amount of time saved, the investment quickly pays for itself. It’s a tool you can’t do without once you have it, says Kenni Stærk.
Support that makes a difference
The Kvik Kald solution is the result of a collaboration between Delfi Technologies and the KFI Retailer Foundation, making it easier for independent store owners to invest in new technology. Through the support program, stores can have a significant portion of the costs for both equipment and training covered – enabling them to take the next step toward more efficient operations, faster service, and increased job satisfaction.
