At SPAR in Blistrup, wireless VoCoVo headsets from Delfi Technologies have made it possible for employees to communicate quickly and efficiently – without leaving their workstations. This provides both better customer service and shorter waiting times. With call buttons in the store, customers can also easily request assistance. The solution creates a sense of security, saves time, and improves teamwork.

With the new VoCoVo solution, the local SPAR store in Blistrup has taken an important step toward more efficient and modern store operations. The communication system is tailored for retail and allows employees to communicate quickly and seamlessly via wireless headsets – without having to leave their tasks. This improves both internal collaboration and customer service.

– I often get called to the checkout or kiosk – then it’s just quick to talk things through, explains Noah, one of the employees at SPAR in Blistrup.

The solution is based on a closed, wireless network where both voice and messages go directly to the headsets. This has minimized wasted time, reduced interruptions, and created a calmer workday – while customers experience faster service.

– It’s simply perfect. It’s almost four times faster than before, says another employee.

Call stations provide security and quick response

In addition to the headsets, wireless call buttons (call stations) have been installed at key locations such as the bottle return machine, the butcher’s department, the goods receiving area, and the refrigerated section.

With a simple press, customers or suppliers can request assistance – even when staff are not nearby. The message goes directly to the relevant employees via their headsets, and the customer is automatically informed that an employee is on the way.

This creates a sense of security for both customers and suppliers. At the same time, it provides better oversight for the staff – and significantly reduces waiting times.

New funding pool paves the way for wider adoption

The implementation of VoCoVo is the result of a collaboration between Delfi Technologies and the KFI Commercial Foundation. Through this collaboration, KFI has launched a funding pool that makes it easier for store owners to adopt the technology.

KFI supports and invests in the independent retail sector in Denmark. The foundation has close ties to independent store owners in, among others, Dagrofa-owned chains such as SPAR, MENY, and Min Købmand, and works to strengthen their competitiveness – partly through technological solutions.

KFI covers up to 75% of the costs for both hardware and training for stores with a turnover of over 15 million DKK. The scheme is especially beneficial for store owners in Dagrofa-owned chains such as SPAR and MENY.
