At the headquarters of jem & fix, digital meeting room signs ensure a simple and efficient overview of the meeting rooms. The system is fully integrated with Outlook and provides the reception and employees with precise information – always updated in real time.

With more than 130 discount DIY stores across Denmark, jem & fix is a company in constant development. At the headquarters in Vejle, there is a high level of daily activity, where meetings and collaboration across departments require structure and overview. To make it easier to manage the use of meeting rooms, jem & fix has chosen to install digital room signage from Delfi Technologies.

The new meeting room signs give employees and guests a quick and accurate insight into room availability. Right at the door, the sign shows whether the room is available or occupied – and when the next meeting will take place.

Less wasted time and fewer interruptions

Employees can immediately see whether a room is available and don’t have to interrupt meetings or double-check in the system. This frees up time and creates a smoother workday. At the same time, the reception has gained an effective tool to quickly get an overview of the meeting rooms.

The signs are wireless and run on batteries with several years of lifespan. The direct integration with Outlook ensures that the information is always up to date – completely automatically – the moment a meeting is booked in the calendar.

From calendar to sign in seconds

Digital room signage from Delfi Technologies consists of wireless signs with long battery life, which are automatically updated via integration with Outlook.

When a meeting is booked in the calendar, the information is displayed directly on the sign at the door – including whether the room is available or occupied, as well as the time of the next meeting. The solution requires no cables and provides a simple, visual overview of the meeting rooms.

If the need for additional meeting rooms arises, the system can easily be expanded, and new signs can be connected to the existing solution, allowing it to grow in line with the organization’s needs.
