If you don’t do it right when the prices change, it creates a lot of confusion for customers,” says Jeppe Madsen. This makes it easy for customers to identify and take advantage of current offers and promotions. – We looked for digital price tags because it took a lot of time to change the paper tags we had before. And then the products present themselves more nicely on the shelf and it is also much easier to see where there are offers and where there are no offers, explains Jeppe Madsen. In addition, the pharmacy takes advantage of the ability to display multiple products on the same sign, making more efficient use of space and making it easier for customers to compare different products directly on the shelves. The pharmacy also has the option to display specific text directly on the signs, such as “dietary supplements”, which increases customer awareness of product categories and makes it easier to find specific items in the pharmacy.

Jeppe Madsen runs a total of three pharmacies, all of which have the digital price tags from Delfi Technologies. Due to the distances between the pharmacies and the ease of Delfi’s solution, Jeppe could only instruct the employees in the Delfi app and the digital signage solution over the phone, which worked well. – I have opted out of digital price tags Delfi Technologies because they are much easier to set up. You can stand at the shelf with a cell phone and an app, scan the product and the price tag – and then you can see right away that it works. You don’t have to move away from the shelves and away from the products,” concludes Jeppe Madsen.
