From click to coffee aroma: Rigtig Kaffe expands its physical presence

Rigtig Kaffe has opened a new store in Gentofte. Here, the coffee experience and technology meet as digital price tags from Delfi Technologies create consistency between the store and the online universe.

Since 2009, Rigtig Kaffe has developed into one of Denmark’s leading specialists in coffee and espresso machines and is now known for its passion for coffee, deep product knowledge, its own imports and a broad range of premium brands.

With the opening of a new store on Nybrovej in Gentofte, Rigtig Kaffe is expanding its physical presence—the second store in the series following the success in Tilst near Aarhus.

Physical store strengthens the coffee experience

The store in Gentofte is intended to strengthen the ambition of giving customers the opportunity to experience the world of coffee with all their senses and gain access to personal advice based on more than a decade of experience.

“Many of our customers ask for the opportunity to try the machines and taste the coffee before they buy. The location in Gentofte was an obvious choice, and the timing was right,” says CEO and owner Anne Dorthe Melballe.

The new store serves as an experience universe where customers can test machines and feel the difference, taste coffee and receive specialised advice.

To connect the store with the webshop and ensure full transparency, Rigtig Kaffe uses digital price tags from Delfi Technologies. This ensures that prices and product information are always up to date—whether customers shop online or in store.

“Our customers want to experience, test and taste before they invest. With digital signs, we free up time for advice and ensure consistent data across channels,” says Anne Dorthe Melballe, continuing:
