Delfi CEO celebrates 25th anniversary

Director and proprietor of the IT company Delfi Technologies A/S, Palle Svendsen, can mark his 25th anniversary on 1 May, 2020.

On May 1 – 2020, Palle Svendsen can celebrate 25 years in Delfi Technologies A/S. A European IT company that has built its success on delivering barcode solutions to stores, hospitals, warehouse and industry. The company is owned by Palle Svendsen himself and he is also the CEO of the company.

Founded in 1988, Delfi Technologies was acquired by Palle Svendsen in 1995. Since Palle Svendsen’s acquisition in 1995, the company has expanded from being a small Danish company with only 2 employees, to a medium-sized European company with more than 110 employees and offices in 6 countries – Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Germany, Italy and Vietnam.

In the recent years, the company has experienced a great growth through the introduction of new technologies and digital solutions – including electronic price tags for supermarkets, pharmacies, construction markets and other industries. Today, the company has a turnover of more than DKK 200 million annually.

Palle Svendsen is an educated electronics engineer, an education he completed in the Armed Forces. After graduation, he held various jobs before deciding to start for himself, after which he acquired Delfi Technologies from one of his former competitors.

Due to his many years of experience in the company, Palle Svendsen has established an extensive expertise in barcode solutions for Danish and foreign companies – including hardware, software development and other services.

In private he is married to Hanne. Together they have three children, two daughters in Aalborg and Bologna in Italy, and a son in Copenhagen, who also works in the company.
