An all-in-one solution

With your new wireless buffet sign solution, you get signs that communicate via a 2-way radio frequency without being affected by other wireless systems. Digital buffet signs create an overview in MEYER’S canteens

The Danish food company, Meyers, today operates canteens and supplied lunch solutions to large parts of Denmark. Meyers was founded by the gastronomic entrepreneur Claus Meyer, who for over 30 years has worked to promote the qualities of Danish food culture.

Meyers wanted to optimize the time for their chefs and staff in the many kitchens. At the same time, the contents of the inviting dishes had to be presented more visually to the diners. Digital buffet signs are a solution that has created an overview in Meyer’s canteens around Denmark. It is a ‘Plug & Play solution’, where a simple antenna is connected to an internet socket in each canteen and which has saved paper waste and working hours for the chefs.

In North Jutland (Denmark) you will find the luxurious resort HimmerLand, which is known for its golf facilities, spa, different activities and gastronomy. The resort is on a major growth journey, where padel courts, new hotel rooms and a multipurpose hall also are being built. In addition to new activities and experiences, HimmerLand’s digital ambitions are also developing. One of the new initiatives is digital signs to communicate with guests at the resort.

In the resort’s hotel restaurant, a sumptuous breakfast buffet with a wide selection of hot and cold dishes is served every day. To make daily life simpler for the staff, digital buffet signs from Delfi have also been introduced in the buffet, so it is also possible to easily and quickly change the buffet’s contents and dishes.

At the same time, it is possible to inform guests about allergens directly on the signs in the buffet. The signs are of the same type as the digital price signs that are already used in the grocery store and the padel kiosk. The buffet signs control the staff via a simple Excel sheet, where texts can be quickly entered and followed by a single click, all the buffet signs are updated with the changes and the new dishes.

Restaurant AKKC by MEST digitizes the buffet

Restaurant AKKC by MEST sees it as a duty to work purposefully towards a positive impact within sustainability, focus on green transition and take social responsibility in the local environment of all of us. As part of their sustainable digital journey, Delfi Technologies has installed 300 Breece digital signs. 300 signs to be used as buffet signs to highlight their different menus and drinks.
