Before, I had to update the prices, ask the staff to go out and find the wine, make a new sticker and update that in this way. But because we constantly get new products, prices and offers, we save oceans of time with this solution," says Flemming proudly.

Hobro Vinhandel digitizes the store with electronic price tags

The local wine shop in Hobro (Denmark) has existed for more than 10 years. A growth journey is underway, including a full digitizationof the store. Going from writing price tags in hand to a fully digital solution with a complete overview of and access to data on the entire range of wines.

The software that controls the electronic price tags is in the cloud and is connected to data from the store's new checkout system. In this way, you can easily and quickly send out product and price information continuously to the more than 500 different products at the shelves.

In May 2022, POPL officially opened their new Takeaway Bottleshop. In this connection, they had Breece digital price signs installed, which had to be an eye-catcher in its very own way.

”The dream was to give our new Bottleshop an expression that moved away from the ordinary manila brands, which are most often used in similar cases. Before the opening, we therefore needed a high quality solution that could work together with our own specially selected quality products. The integration at POPL has been created by Delfi Technologies, so that the staff at POPL can quickly add, delete and change their information at the shelf labels through an Excel sheet. In this way, the visitors are always updated about the product's name, vintage, country and price. It all happens via a Breece Cloud Plug & Play solution, where POPL has set up just one wireless antenna in the store, which is connected to an internet connector - simple and easy.

”When I walked around the supermarket chain, MENY, where I saw the front of the shelves and got the idea about ELS for our new Bottleshop, I was a little nervous about whether it was just something that was negotiated and installed for larger chains. When, fortunately, I inquired with Delfi about the possibility, it took about three weeks before we had our digital price signs implemented and were ready for our opening of the store with the desired eye-catcher.”
