BAUHAUS has implemented a new solution to help staff pick items for Click & Collect. With the help of electronic shelf labels and handheld terminals, it has become much faster and easier to find your way to the right items. A new solution that also saves a lot of time on replenishment.

With a product range of over 160,000 items in a typical BAUHAUS store, it can be confusing for staff to find the exact pack of nails or can of paint to pick for a Click & Collect order.

In February 2020, STARK opened the doors to a brand new and sustainable timber store in Hørsholm to make it easier for customers to build sustainably. The timber store has gotten off to a flying start despite Corona and general restrictions in the industry. With electronic price tags, the staff also save large amounts of time, which can instead be used to give customers the necessary advice.

With the goal of being able to free up more time for advisory customer care while managing campaigns and prices on a completely different level, the CF Group, which is part of XL-BYG, has chosen to introduce electronic shelf labeling with Delfi Technologies as partner and supplier. The implementation will take place in May 2018 – but already now, the employees are full of anticipation.

The day before the Christmas party at XL-BYG in Køge, Jes Gravesen, CEO of the XL-BYG CF Group, which has five stores on Zealand, announced that electronic price tags will be introduced in spring 2018.

In early 2018, Fog installed electronic shelf labels as a pilot project in the first timber and construction center on Zealand. A year has now passed and there is more time for advice and customer service. Another side benefit is the confidence that customers have that prices are correct. Based on the positive experience, Fog will implement electronic shelf labels in the remaining stores.
