How does it work

2 Functions

With Find My Device, you get 2 functions:

  1. The device emits a sound if it hasn’t moved for X amount of time.
  2. The device emits a sound if its battery is below x%.

The device’s vibration is disabled when the device is placed on its charger.

New app ensures that handheld terminals don't disappear at NORMAL

Among other projects, we have assisted NORMAL in developing a mobile app that ensures handheld terminals do not go missing.

Søren Sivebæk, IT Director at NORMAL, explains that the challenge was that PDAs could get lost in the stores. This could happen because staff might place a device somewhere during a task and simply forget to put it back in its place. They might be in the middle of inventory or other routines in the store while simultaneously assisting customers.

– We simply experienced devices disappearing, and therefore, we needed a tool to put a stop to it,” he explains, continuing:

– Since we received the new app from Delfi Technologies, which sounds an alarm if the device remains still for too long, they no longer disappear.
