Digital signs help create an overview of meeting rooms
The combination of radical growth, new premises and a boom in the number of employees places greater demands on solutions that create an overview. That’s why Konsolidator has invested in digital meeting room signs from Delfi Technologies.
Since Konsolidator’s inception in 2016, the company’s mission to create standardized and automated consolidation software that quickly ensures accurate numbers and overcomes the challenges associated with financial consolidation in Excel has only progressed.
A successful mission that has contributed to a growth of between 40-70 percent each year, which can be seen in the number of employees. The company has gone from 5 to 35 employees in four years – and this has created some new challenges in terms of space and overview.
To provide more space for the software company’s growth and ambitions, they moved into the large shared office space at Vandtårnsvej 83 in Søborg in 2021. The new office on the second floor is designed for creative souls with open office spaces, social furniture arrangements and an extraordinary view of all the companies in the entire office community.

Meeting rooms help with daily planning
As Konsolidator currently has customers across Europe, the US and South East Asia, there are a large number of online meetings that require concentration and full attention. As a result, six meeting rooms of different sizes are frequently used for a variety of purposes.
It quickly became clear to the growing company that they needed to find a solution to keep track of the different meeting rooms and at the same time have the ability to display the different room bookings directly at the entrance to the rooms to avoid the problems and confusion that otherwise arose in everyday life. After a major search for the right signage solution, the choice fell on Delfi Technologies’ digital meeting room signs.

Digital signs – with integration directly to Outlook calendar
The digital signs from Delfi Technologies were quickly and easily integrated with the company’s Outlook calendar so that employees can now book into the rooms directly from their Outlook calendar. At the same time, they can now also see an overview of the rooms’ available times directly from their workstation.
The digital signs are wireless and powered by a button cell battery with a battery life of approximately 5 years before the need for replacement arises. The software that controls the digital signs is located in the cloud and is developed by Delfi Technologies. All it requires is an internet connection and a wireless antenna that sends the updates to all signs within seconds.
– When we were looking for the right signage solution for our meeting rooms, it was crucial that we didn’t have to drill, run cables or anything else in our beautiful glass walls. The meeting rooms are named after their previous office locations such as “Kælderen”, “Tobakken” and the current location “Vandtårnet”. On all signs, these names appear in the design itself – and the design of the signs can be put together as you wish. Current meetings, the entire day’s meetings in the room, the meeting topic, the meeting organizer’s name and many other important information can be displayed. It is also possible to get a complete overview of all meeting rooms and times on a large screen in, for example, the reception or hallway with the Delfis Vision 4K large screen solution.
