One of the main reasons for the introduction of electronic price labeling, according to Managing Director Jan-Gunnar Olsen, was to relieve his staff. Since the Delfi solution was installed in the Oldenburg Zoo & Co market, employees no longer have to stick paper labels on the shelves, thus gaining more time for even more competent customer advice.

Optimization potential through the use of Breece Cloud

The use of Delfi’s electronic price labeling can optimize margins. Incorrect labeling on the shelves is a thing of the past thanks to the interface between the deployed merchandise management system and Delfi Breece Cloud. By linking the merchandise management system with the Breece Cloud, current changes such as price changes are updated in real-time and immediately transferred to the labels on the shelves.

Transmission of information with a single antenna

The information is transmitted to the labels via a single antenna installed on the sales floor. This is made possible by the convincing radio range of the antennas used by Delfi. Another advantage is the radio frequency used, which does not cause any overlap or interference in existing WLAN networks.
