Wow effect affects the bottom line at Denmark’s largest garden center chain

The rollout of electronic shelf labels is in full swing at Plantorama, which expects both financial and operational benefits from replacing paper shelf labels in all of its garden centers. Employees will have more time for customers and it will be easier to manage campaigns across the garden centers.

Plantorama currently has 11 experience centers spread across Jutland, Zealand and Funen. Electronic shelf labels will be installed in all locations to ensure updated prices all around.

In addition to creating a greener profile, expectations have also been met when it comes to creating a positive impact on the customer experience and employee satisfaction, says Heidi Paaske Christensen, Project Coordinator at Plantorama, who has been involved in the electronic shelf labels project from the very beginning:

– Our expectations for a solution that benefits both our customers and employees have been fulfilled. Employees save a lot of time, especially at the start and end of the campaign, and can focus more on the customers after we have started implementing electronic shelf labels in our garden centers.
